The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Libraries Branch Directorate offers a comprehensive service network to increase public access to information and meet individuals' needs for continuous learning, cultural development, and information sharing. These services, aiming to create an innovative, sustainable, and accessible library network, provide significant contributions both individually and socially. The Libraries Branch Directorate serves various districts of Izmir with 7 library units and 2 mobile libraries. These libraries add value to the people of Izmir not only through access to books and information but also through cultural events and projects. Through national and international events such as the International Literature Festival, Library Week Activities, Living Library Talks, Author Talks, Book Signings, and Reading Workshops, the aim is to make Izmir a culturally richer city.
