Application Requirements

• Being a 12th grade student at a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
• Residing in İzmir

12th grade students of Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools can benefit from the service.

1. Application Process:Applications will be accepted up to three times the number of students accepted for the internship in each department.
2. Requirements and Necessary Documents:Students who complete their applications will be invited to an interview on the dates notified to them, along with their identification documents.
3. Registration and Guidance:Students who are successful in the interview will be given vocational training contracts and asked to provide the necessary documents.
4. Completion and Notification:The start date of the internship and the dates of the pre-employment medical examination will be notified to the students via SMS and email.

Based on the requests collected from the directorates of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, it is determined how many students from which departments will be offered internship opportunities.

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality may not accept interns in some departments where it does not have any operational activities. For example: Plastics Technology: Since we do not have any plastics manufacturing facilities within our organization, we do not accept students from this and similar departments.

Student admissions are not made in fields and branches where there is no certified Master Instructor.

According to Law No. 3308, students undertaking internships (vocational training) are paid a monthly wage that is not less than 30% of the net minimum wage.
